Payroll
Hi, does anyone know if it was an early cut off on payroll for last weeks overtime? Looks like I'm missing Fridays and Saturdays which is a fair chunk as it was a collection and working day off. Just wanted to check before I go in all guns blazing about why I've not been paid.

Re: Payroll
No one at our office got any overtime paid as far as I know. Maybe a country wide f**k up…

Re: Payroll
Early shut payroll saturday ~midday.
You likely won't have been paid Friday, definitely won't have been paid Saturday or sunday OT.
your manglers should've told you, but as usual....

Re: Payroll
Cheers, thought that might be the case, and yeah some advance notice from managers would have been nice when I'd budgeted for that money being in before the end of month bills.

Communication, managers, and Royal Mail?
Have you not seen the LTB stating that they're not to used in the same sentence!

Re: Payroll
I'm just guessing here Mistylucas, but the sick pay was clawed back by the bookroom staff recently, which takes time going through all the data and figures, so he/she wouldn't have been able to process all of the O/T for that period.
My wages look liked it caught up last Friday.
Again just an educated guess here.

A communications company that doesn’t communicate. Who’d have thought it.

Re: Payroll
Whilst that is happening, no, there was a complete early shutdown and cutoff of payroll on saturday. you would still see the entries for overtime, even if they were nullified by negatives of sick pay stuff.BenacreNick wrote: ↑20 Feb 2024, 18:48I'm just guessing here Mistylucas, but the sick pay was clawed back by the bookroom staff recently, which takes time going through all the data and figures, so he/she wouldn't have been able to process all of the O/T for that period.

Re: Payroll
I'm missing 3.25 hrs ot, plus 6 Sunday SA. It also happened about 3 weeks ago. I've checked, it's in the system, so I wont be kicking off until Wednesday when the real manager comes back off leave.
