What time will you finish from May/June

Post by weary_posty »

Just an easy poll to see how badly some members have been screwed over.

16:00 finish on a Saturday for us which has forced my hand into spending this evening sending out my CV.

There is talk of Sunday staff working up until 8pm.

The job is dead

Maybe, I'd say he's definitely in a minority, could possibly request a transfer to Ayr

Four day rota so new times are:

Mon 6.45- 1.45
Thu 6.25 - 2.25
Fri 6.25 - 2.25
Sat 6.45 - 1.45

Will be able to take 2nd break at end of shift so effectively leave 20 minutes earlier than times quoted. Happy with this but can totally understand the anger for people who have been fcuked over.

That looks delicious.

We've had an hour added on. In a sub, traffic for our mail and parcels arriving will see us getting out a lot later than an hour. :nana

If you scan out 20 mins early the system will show you as finishing 20mins before your official shift end time.

Maybe so, but we’ve done this for ages, with the agreement of management.

Ignore it. The guy literally doesn't know what he's talking about. Part of our workplan has involved part of our break off the end of shift for years to no detriment. Any revision activity has always taken this into account.

He may very well know what he's talking about RH. I've just posted on another Thread about this. We "Used" to use a similiar system to you both, booking 20 mins Unclaimed MR at the end of the day, that's now been stopped.

Duty times are now recorded, and paid, from SISO. Just because we've being doing something for years without any problems doesn't mean the "New Royal Mail" aren't going to mess about with it in the every increasing search to save a few pennies to give to the Shareholders. :no no

Good Luck in keeping your Old Agreement, perhaps it's just the Lazy Bastard Managers that can't be bothered to work through, and enter, the paper OT sheets that are pushing this? :cuppa

If you are in delivery and your contracted non OT pay is being linked to SISO then you need to get onto the union ASAP as this is absolutely 100% not agreed or allowed to happen
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Your all deluded nothing contractual about the 20 mins the same as of all the other verbal agreements just look at all the changes which have happened even with the terrible union onboard you will all be s**t on from a great hight when it suits management who unfortunately are not trained to do the job most are just puppets who dare not rock the boat

I hear what you're saying AD but you'll have to explain how that is incorrect (I understand the not agreed bit).

If my contracted hours are 0700 - 1400 and I scan in at 0700 and out at 1400 that's what I'm paid no problem.

If I scan in at 0700, Work an hours Pressure OT, and scan out at 1500 I get paid that hours OT.

The only thing I can't do is scan in at 0700, not take my MR, scan out at 1320 and expect to be paid until 1400

Perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. TBH there's no problem with it. Just the intial push back against enforced change. :cuppa
