Does a change in start times of more than 30 minutes constitute major change and should it trigger a re sign?
Does the Way Forward still hold the field?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

We're going to be moving an hour later.......on finishing times that are already 3pm/3.30pm. We've been told that we'll definitely be having a re-pick.
So has anyone been given their new start times today? Apparently something is going up on the noticeboard at our office today telling us what the new start time will be and when it will start. I’m on a day off today so won’t get to see it until tomorrow. Tempted to ask someone in work to send me a photo of it!
Apparently our start times 8.12
7hrs 24 min every day
Meaning 15.36 finish every day
( less 20 min meal rel )
It's supposed to be 40mins total break times for that length of shift
We are allowed to finish 20 minutes early if we have half our break, so Hans might have meant that.
6.45 7.15 7.00 7.15 7.15 6.15. Start times
6.59 7.29 7.14 7.29 7.29 6.29 35 hr times
20/20 min split break usually about 8.45 and end of shift
P&l always late
22 miles from mail centre
30 mins when roads quiet

Interesting. We are about the same distance and our times are changing by 15 minutes.

Less than a 7 hour shift is only 30mins total breaktime.
Are you physically staying on site and not just scanning out and going home 20mins early? In the current climate I don't think it's going to be long before the higher ups start questioning COMs, MCMs and shift managers (in any MC or DO) about any occurrences of people finishing before their official finish time

I'm off work A/L, and this morning I received a SD A4 envelope with all my new times and how to appeal.
My times have changed by 60 minutes which affects my personal life quite significantly. I will, of course, be appealing for my exemption

The mail centre is actually closer and takes less time, BUT our starting times are 8:30. You would think the further the mail centre is away from a D.O then it's clearly going to take longer.
Our times at present are 6:45 and to move it nearly 2hrs is crazy. Not many happy people this morning, myself included.

Hope you manage to get it sorted. I am sure there is still plenty of work that can be done in the morning prior to the lorry arriving.
We were told we would receive a letter by SD today, Monday, merely telling us if we were people affected, and then that there would be a communication placed on the noticeboard today, also Monday, telling those affected their new times. No letter as yet but still early in the day. I will update…

I can’t speak for others, but we just scan out twenty minutes early. It has been that way since scanning in and out started, so if it was causing issues for our managers, I’m sure it would have been stopped by now.
