60 in 2025 - Contacting Capita????

Soooo.....left RM in 2014 and now preparing to get my 'ducks in a row' for claiming/checking my options for my RM60 pension.I'm 60 in 2025

It all seems rather confusing

I joined RM in 1987....how many pots have I got.....2....3 ? A 60 pot and a 65 pot?

Does anybody have the correct address for Capita so I can write to them, seems they're rather elusive when it comes to tracking down the right department to get information on an estimate of how much your pot is approx worth

Has anybody still on here, claimed the whole lump sum,part of it,deferred it? Do you get your pension paid monthly? So many questions

Any advice welcomed

Pensions will get in touch with you about six months before your 60th birthday by letter. Then you will be given the options for you to choose how you wish to have your pension paid. If the paperwork is complicated to understand I suggest you ring them to help you fill in the paperwork. You will be dealing with two pension providers which can complicate matters. You will also get a pension at 65, you can take this before then if you wish but it will be reduced for taking it before maturity. Also if you are in section c you will be entitled to a pension supplement if you no longer work for Royal Mail until state pension age, you need to inform them that you no longer work for Royal Mail to receive the supplement. It took them about 4 months to start paying me the supplement from once I informed them, this was backdated. Don't defer it you will lose any that you defer.
