lapsing collections

Post by fallenworld202233 »

Hi

when u have a label collection pick up parcel from customer one from ur lapsing part of frame, when u manage outdoor and add additional route to your pda the additional route being the lapsing one, it comes up with all the collections from the lapsing frame, not just ur own loop, so what are you supposed to do on the pda, are u supposed to get ur own as collected and ignore the other ones or put not collected on parts that arent yours, quite complicated, not sure how to get it off pda

You can go in to manage collections and hide the ones that aren't on your lapsing.
(Can't remember the exact process without looking at my PDA)

Pick up yours and ignore the others, manager will have obviously planned other people to pick them up.

Manage parcel collect.

It will give you the option to hide jobs in the same manner it gives you the option to download additional jobs from another route like you already know how to.

It’s pretty straight forward and the sort of support you should have access to in your workplace through your colleagues, wpc or manager.

so if u scanned ur own collection barcode, then u may have a collection on the lapsing but woudln't know it if it was one without a label, so would that mean ur best scanning the additional route (being the lapsing) everyday incase u have a non label one on the lapsing, and anything thats not yours on the lapsing just ignore it , cause how else would u know if u have a customer collection on the lapsing ? ones with labels got left on ur frame, but ones without labels on the additional lapsing frame u woudlnt know without scanning the additional route??

Yes. Scan it every day you take the lapsing and check.

We don't scan it every day just to check, it's up to the office person to tell us if we have anything.

Click 'See all jobs' then there's a bar at the bottom of the screen which name escapes me. From there you can add additional routes, and hide jobs that aren't yours. Me and my walk share add each others and hide the ones that aren't on our loops.

We have to do this except for one day when both duties collections appeared automatically.
I assumed there had been an upgrade but it has never happened again.

I don't understand why a van share duty has 2 numbers anyway. It is one duty.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

It's similar to scanning your parcels to route. Yes it's great they're listed, but quite obviously you're not gonna be delivering half of them rendering the list somewhat pointless.

Yeah. I was wondering about how that works with their latest great invention, my performance or my doorstep whatever they are calling it. Say your partner doesn’t bother to scan a couple of tracked that you scanned to core, it’s going to effect your performance isn’t it. I know a manager would come and ask u why u haven’t scanned them and u can say sorry guv they are on the other guys loops but the technology isn’t going to know that is it.
