Divide the hours by number of days per week.

Re: annual leave
Shifts per week, on average, so 5. One in 6 weeks off still results in an average of 5 days a week. 32 hour contract would be... 6hrs 24 a day? So you have just under 16 days of holiday to burn.fallenworld202233 wrote: ↑15 Feb 2024, 20:41say 32 hours so how many days do i divide it by? u work 5 days, but is it 7 your diving it by, im lost it says got 102 hours spare thats all i know
Start slamming them in, every single day possible form now til August. If you don't get them but you tried to, RM is on the hook, and it's ACAS involvement situation (Or union rep). If you don't try after RM warned you carry over was limited, you lose them, get nothing.
Ninja edit, it's a little shorter to burn days during this "light season", so it's probably more like 17 days.

Re: annual leave
I am assuming you have been employed for less than 5 years which would mean your annual leave entitlement would be four & a half weeks (22.5 days).
you work a 32 hour week this would equate to 144 hours entitlement. I assume you have carried over hours to obtain 170.
You have obviously only used 68 hours of your entitlement, which equates to 2 weeks & 4 hours
You have 102 remaining = 3 weeks & 6 hours
5 (weeks) x 32 = 160 plus 10 hours (4&6) =170

Re: annual leave
as posted above, put requests in for them all, better off via the app for screenshots, don't rely on a verbal "no"
then if they try to take them off you if all get refused then it's probably against the law, if this does happen, get acas involved, i wouldn't bother with the union getting help, they won't help, still awaiting 4hrs rm owe me that they won't even acknowledge
