How many pensions do I have and who runs them!

How many blooming pension schemes do I have with R.M since I've been with them since 1993? I know the final salary closed (section C), was replaced and that closed....and the one that replaced that has now closed?? So now where are my contributions going? I've seen mention of Capita and Scottish Widows running parts of it? I'm trying to sort things for the future but haven't got a clue where to start.......ideally I'd like to be able to go and see a pensions expert and say I've got this, this, this and this but actually haven't got a clue where to start. Any help gratefully received and appreciated.

If you're not paying additional voluntary contributions, you're not with Scottish Widows, you're still in section C of the RMPP.

The ways that pensions are calculated have changed a few times and responsibility for paying for your pension earned before 2012 is effectively under state control.

So Capita are in charge of the section C part of my pension? And anything after that is run by who?

Section C replaced section B for new starters on 1st April 1987.

The final salary element of sections A, B & C continued until 31st March 2008.

That was then replaced by the average salary pension(CARE/CSDB) from 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2018.
Then by the DBCBS from 1st April 2018 to the present.

But you would have remained in section C the whole time, as that is based on the date you joined RM/the pension scheme. Unless you chose to opt out along the way.
So you are still in section C!
I would hazard a guess your pension contribution on you wage slip reads 'PSE Adj RMPP DBCBS C'? The last letter denotes the section you're in.
