Where can I go to view my pension?

Where can I go to view my pension? is there actually anywhere to view how much I have in my pot and where I can change where it's invested and what age I can claim it...?

Been with Royal Mail 4 years, never been on a website to view anything. Looking at my documents I don't have anything which informs me of a website with login etc to view this stuff. One document says I need to phone Scottish Widows to amend things such as the age you take the pension and where it's invested.

I do remember that I phoned Scottish Widows early on after joining Royal Mail asking them to cancel my pension as I wanted to put my money towards my mortgage instead. It seems it was not cancelled as I still receive documents from 'The Royal Mail Defined Contribution Plan' stating I have ~£10,000 in my pot. I am not complaining as in hindsight I'd rather have the pension.

You've probably been sent a letter in the past with initial login details but if you've no idea then you need to speak to Scottish Widows (contact details on the site). They'll probably ask you your life history etc. and then initially send you your login details again through the post. I've changed what funds my pension is invested in through the website a couple of times.

The initial letter they sent me with login details gave my password as ********** ........

I assume the ********** was some default thing on the document that they were supposed to change. Somebody didn't enter the password into the document.

Is this for people who joined over 20 years ago? Or just newish starters?

If you joined RM sometime after 1st April 2008, the chances are you'll have joined the RMDCP, unless you opted out. And for anyone reaching 5 years in the RMDCP, you will be given the opportunity to pay into the DBCBS via section F of the RMPP.
