Sick Pay. I owe them money for being off sick?

I'm part time on 25 hours/5 days, been with RM for ~11 months, last week I worked Mon/Tue, I had my first period of sick leave Wed/Thu/Fri, My day off was Saturday. So 2 days in, 3 days sick.

Opening my pay slip today it seems my net pay is minus £13. Does this seem correct? I don't understand how I can be in the negative for 3 days off, would appreciate if anyone could explain it. I'd ask my manager but I don't trust him.

Here is how my slip looks:(Figures rounded up)

Payments:

1. Arrears of basic pay: -£144

1. Arrears of delivery sup -£9

1. Sick pay: +£88

Deductions:

1. Tax Paid -£52

You are only entitled to sick pay once you are employed for 12 months. It seems like the pay slip is correct but any queries contact hr if you don't want to deal with your manager on 0845 6060603

Indeed. This happened to me after I had a van accident and had been there 10 months. I received a minus pay slip. I later got the money back as RM was liable, but I was left with a minus £290 payslip as it was Xmas, and I had been paid pre-calculated wages.
There is absolutely nothing anyone can do, as I found out. The system won't allow payment of sick pay under any circumstances if employed less than 12 months. Next week you'll get normal pay minus the £13.

And the £88 sick pay? What is this if you don't qualify for sick pay?

Its a minus figure so its a credit not a debit
