Re: scan to core route
you could have accidently scanned the same tracked twice, it sometimes does it without askng if you want to delete , when it happens to me i check the codes that are left against the scanned ones, they always match with them

Re: scan to core route
Could it be scanning the 2D barcode in the office and then the 3D barcode outdoors? Mine always show delivered unless I overlook delivering one.SillyBilly wrote: ↑18 Jan 2024, 15:00Some days my scan to core numbers on pda stil lshow a few to still be delivered but i have definatly deliverd all my tracked and also checked via track n trace to confirm the ones on my shown delivery points still left on my pda have been delivered ?

Re: scan to core route
Sorry to hijack the post but it’s pointless me starting another with the same title!
What am I doing wrong?
Scan to core route
Scan all the parcels
Deal with any messages about redirections (valid different route etc)
Send to cloud
Confirm estimates first delivery time
Every single time it then says I haven’t triaged (or something) XYZ and need to go back. It’s every single time.
I then repeat all the above steps.
Same message, go back.
I then repeat again
This time it usually works. Although sometimes I’ve had to repeat these steps 4/5 times. I’m fed up of the damn thing beeping at me saying go back. Sometimes this can take 3/4 mins to sort.
Why can’t we just have a ‘are you sure’ message, which we confirm, then away we go.

Re: scan to core route
Maybe give it a couple of minutes between sending it to cloud & scanning the barcode in "Outdoor".HTPostman wrote: ↑18 Jan 2024, 22:53Sorry to hijack the post but it’s pointless me starting another with the same title!

You have to wait for the information to be transmitted. There is an icon top right of your scanner. When the red number disappears you are safe to scan.HTPostman wrote: ↑18 Jan 2024, 22:53Sorry to hijack the post but it’s pointless me starting another with the same title!

You beat me to it Lou, was going to say the same, if I get the dreaded triage etc I go for my final wee before leaving then it's usually ok.LouBarlow wrote: ↑19 Jan 2024, 05:14You have to wait for the information to be transmitted. Re: scan to core route
We now just scan all our tracked "Ready For Delivery" saves any problems if you have to cut off & bring it back.

Re: scan to core route
20 years and they still cant get Horizon right i doubt very much this software on pda's is any better ,surprised they haven't started sacking people saying you are the only one ,this company is an absolute mess ,my family member has been ringing customer service waiting for a parcel for 4 days her message on the email is,out for delivery then unable to deliver ,out for delivery but failed to turn up,3rd day nothing phones customer service its definitely out for delivery it says it on my system yet they have nothing on the tracker ,if i was a customer i would never trust Royal Fail with anything ,the DPD app and tracking runs seamlessly.

Re: scan to core route
Both the MC stuff and the TMA stuff on the PDAs should be their own separate apps. Maybe the indoor and outdoor DO stuff should also each be their own separate apps.guardianangel wrote: ↑21 Jan 2024, 08:5820 years and they still cant get Horizon right i doubt very much this software on pda's is any better ,surprised they haven't started sacking people saying you are the only one ,this company is an absolute mess ,my family member has been ringing customer service waiting for a parcel for 4 days her message on the email is,out for delivery then unable to deliver ,out for delivery but failed to turn up,3rd day nothing phones customer service its definitely out for delivery it says it on my system yet they have nothing on the tracker ,if i was a customer i would never trust Royal Fail with anything ,the DPD app and tracking runs seamlessly.

Re: scan to core route
If the postie is scanning it ready for delivery then not actually delivering I doubt it's a software issue? Perhaps DPD have no issues as they are paid per parcel so have a bigger incentive to actually deliver it!! If I have an issue with a parcel not showing as delivered it's normally down to me not delivering it or failing to scan it, not a system issue.guardianangel wrote: ↑21 Jan 2024, 08:5820 years and they still cant get Horizon right i doubt very much this software on pda's is any better ,surprised they haven't started sacking people saying you are the only one ,this company is an absolute mess ,my family member has been ringing customer service waiting for a parcel for 4 days her message on the email is,out for delivery then unable to deliver ,out for delivery but failed to turn up,3rd day nothing phones customer service its definitely out for delivery it says it on my system yet they have nothing on the tracker ,if i was a customer i would never trust Royal Fail with anything ,the DPD app and tracking runs seamlessly.
