Ok . I’m not very good at explaining pension things so hopefully Robert will chime in if He sees what I’m trying to say lol. You kind of get two pension statements one is guaranteed to be pretty poor amount and the other seems to be much more..I got quite a few years in and I received the lower one before the other and nearly had a fit.Possibly same for you?
How much more was your second quote as i have just received a shocking estimate as well similar to the OP. i have done 29 years and i couldn't believe my eyes. Especially when you hear some of the figures being banded around.

My first quote was £107 a year and £719 lump sum. The real actual amount sent 2 months later was £360 a year and a lump sum of £2,400 . So that gives you an idea , ie the first quote is off the mark . Obviously the RMSPS was far better
