I think you make a very good point here. This needs reporting and highlighting. Quite often with stories like this, the public only get informed of one side or the beginning and never actually get to hear the true outcome.

If the higher ups think that there's scope to rip some hours out a DO, they'll just order the COM to rip them hours out. Packets have dropped off a lot again now that Xmas pressure is over, they seem down more than what I'd expect post Xmas pressure.citypostie wrote: ↑11 Jan 2024, 08:04Doesn't really make any sense because we got the £250 but that was with no annual leave, agency staff doing parcels, agency staff doing walks and people starting 3 hours early plus 9 hire vans. All things which have now stopped or gone . But then we are talking about royal mail so nothing would surprise me! Our managers have said we aren't having any revision or duties taken out this year because that happened last year but we will see. They are stopping early morning IPS thoughSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑09 Jan 2024, 19:31I wonder how many of them offices will mysteriously find RM taking hours out of them.

Our managers told us no revision this year after their bosses boss(the rod) I believe they are called told them. They was on about taking our big parcels off us as well but that has now been shelvedSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑11 Jan 2024, 19:46If the higher ups think that there's scope to rip some hours out a DO, they'll just order the COM to rip them hours out. According to my scan to core route figures I'd say the amount of trackeds I've had last week and so far this week is only approx 30% down from mid December levels, so not massively dropped off, it's also currently at least 20% up from say October/start of November, we're also getting more really big stuff coming through, mail has definitely ramped up this week plus plenty of d2ds, it really is about time Royal Mail made their mind up whether they want to be a parcel, mail, or leaflets company as it's becoming increasingly difficult to accommodate all three.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑11 Jan 2024, 19:46If the higher ups think that there's scope to rip some hours out a DO, they'll just order the COM to rip them hours out. Nope. Not a penny, and we hit the £250 criteria.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Our union rep said it’s being paid pro rata for part timers, even though it was stated when the bonus was announced that if you worked full time hours in the run up to ‘peak ‘
you will get full pay.

They would have pro rata'ed if they thought they would have to pay it.kazardaimenu wrote: ↑25 Jan 2024, 20:07Well that’s a surprise. Usually they pro rata the s**t out of everything.

We didn’t meet the target in any of the weeks at our DO and so there is not a penny of bonus for us either.
