Some of our new contract new starters have begun to turn up early like the people they work with already do, I reckon if you divided the new ones pay by the hours they work they wouldn't be far off minimum wage and definitely will be in April when there's only £1.10 difference.

There is none, which might be why the new gaffer is easing off in ramming through change that will force the legacy contract posties out. They cannot retain staff on these new crappy contracts, so making the old guard leave makes no sense right now.

Could any of us really do any worse when inflation has been running at 6%-4% over the last year? We're effectively taking over a 2% pay cut.

It's worked out annually. So, for example if you earn £500 a week or £26,000 per annum before deductions, you're estimated to pay £269 less

Yes I worked it out at just over £5 a week, or an extra pint on a Sat night
