Yes, part of the revision process in 2021. Take a notepad with you and a blank docket sheet.

My mate (worked there about 13 years ago) was given a clicker to do this bullshit. Said he just did 3 before every house.

Yes before previous revisions so the data was correct. The past 2 revisions have just been made up though so I would be amazed if any of it is saved anywhere.

What about a heart rate monitor as well to see if your heart is pounding or skipping beats? We could use these to ensure that we are all working smarter, not harder.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Just curious as to why you blanked out piss after spelling it in the previous line

That'll be the useless technology at it's finest.....again.

Don't worry the planners in my office (for the last revision) had us gaining access to a dead end street from the "dead end".

Then asked -

"why did you go down to end of the street then all the way back to the start"

GENIOUS.

Bet he got more delivery points dumped onto his walk. By saying just 3 steaps when the screws went through the data it would have made all the DPs look closer than they really were, so to them it would have looked like there was scope to add to that walk.

Don't see why they'd need the number of steps counting as they've got all the data they need from the PDA actuals

So you can’t use pda actuals for a revision?

Are you sure you aren’t being asked to count steps (stairs) leading up to a delivery point?

We’ve not long gone through this to update route manager

We had this a couple of years ago, only flights of 5 or more steps counted. All part of the revision process. Guessing the paperwork went straight in the bin!

Steps (stair like) or steps (walking pace) as usual very poorly written. Flights of stairs still a hard one for management. IF this is being used for revisions - for our benefit, then so be it. Use data from last revisions - oh dear theyve lost it.

Yeah, rounded to nearest 5. All that submitted data is retained, it's just that depending on how hard management are leaning on the planner to arrive at predetermined answers it may look like part or whole of it has been binned.
