Ditto, surely every office has to be told at the same time if flights are ceasing? What is the minimum time frame RM have to warn us of the changes?

It will all come out in the wash soon, I believe it’s 3 months notice but it sounds like some offices have already been told.

We’ve been told ours are being delayed. I’m not sure how some offices move times and some don’t as any mismatch would surely disrupt mail flowing from mail centre to mail centre. I’m sure there is a cunning plan on the way.

When the flights end, the runs to the DOs will all be put back by the same amount of time so it'll be pointless some DOs not having later start times. I assume in MCs on night shifts we'll find out soon about the changes to our start and finish times as well. Can see all shifts though having their start and finish times changed.

When the flights end, the runs to the DOs will all be put back by the same amount of time so it'll be pointless some DOs not having later start times. That is what I thought. Though we do seem to start a little later than most offices anyway right now, so maybe that is why? Either way, it seems odd that some offices are being told one thing and some the opposite. But then, it’s Royal Mail. There is no consensus across the company. Offices tend to do their own thing and there is no consistency, which is partly why the business overall is in such a mess.

New start and finish times need to be decided by the end of January for both years 1 and 2. The problem being they still haven't ironed out the dispatch times so that date could change. Either way, I expect we will all find out soon. Anyone who has been told already is working off inaccurate data and probably could start earlier than they have been told.

Progress has been made in negotiations with Royal Mail over the issue of later starts and finishes.

Hundreds of offices will now only move up to a maximum of 15 minutes. Those offices will move their start times in April 2024.

All other offices will move their start times by the end of June 2024.

Local CWU officials and Royal Mail managers will also be double checking the information provided nationally prior to any changes.

The full list of start and finish times for every office will be issued in February. At this point the exemptions process will also open.

National Officer Mark Baulch will give a full update on the discussions that have taken place at the joint working group next week in an extended interview.

They can dream on if they think that'll happen. Unless the work comes in within about 15 mins of the time that it currently arrives at the Inward MC, the dispatches for both waves WILL be pushed back. There's no way that DO start times will be pushed back by anything less than 30 mins. An hour is more likely going to end up being the minimum across the board

I am very intrigued to see if any of the "hundreds" of 15 minute offices are north of the border, outside of main cities.
Hope I am going to be mistaken.
