December pension payment
Hi, I've just received my December payment and it's more than I usually receive, almost 50% more. I've received no communication about this so can anyone help me to understand what it is, please? Is it a backdated increase? Thank you.

You've given very little background info to go on.
So ask yourself these questions:
Inflationary increases normally apply from April. Did it go up then?
Have you recently taken more of your benefits(i.e NRA65)?
Is it your pension supplement(section C)?
Have you previously paid too much income tax?
They are some possible reasons, but there could be more. If you don't get a better answer from someone else on this forum, then contact either RMSPS or RMPP for an explanation.
