Yeah the mail centre was responsible for us nearly missing our target last week. You are still reliant on those above you not messing up.heraldmoth wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 09:34Whole thing was a scam from the start, most offices failed their targets based on mail centre performance if you actually look

100%.chickenwittle wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 15:16Think the union should be pushing Royal Mail for every office to receive this mythical bonus . Seems totally unfair to me that some get it and some don’t when in most offices this was completely un achievable and out of our control.

Proud to say ours failed every bit of the criteria every single week. Nobody gave a s**t about it when it was announced and we still don’t now. Pennies after tax to flog yourself into the ground, horrible scam from the beginning.

£0. Unachievable duties for years now. We also received 1 casual two weeks before Christmas and lost 5 people this year that were never replaced. And they wonder why zero f***s are now given.

In my opinion mail centres have claimed and scanned to say stuff has left the building to meet their own targets but in reality it’s never even left the site. Then we fail because it’s not been given a ready for delivery scanLouBarlow wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 17:03It was exactly that.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 15:49Probably agency drivers, we had a lot of agency drivers during Xmas pressureLouBarlow wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 14:38Yeah, we have had a few instances of waves being delivered to the wrong offices and having mail therefore arriving late.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 12:05Late arrival of the wave 2 lorry?LouBarlow wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 11:43Yes, sorry I didn’t word that correctly. Mail Centres have claimed, really.
You show me a mail centre that has & I’ll show you a lot of porky tellers!
I am Distribution & even with Agency Drivers we struggled.
Mainly because the trucks we are driving are breaking down.
Most have a million km on them, some more.
As for bonus, all the DO’s we deliver to had to clear.
That will be a no, nothing, not in your wildest dreams scenario!!
Not even discussed amongst drivers as it was so unrealistic.

No MC will have gotten anything. As well as all their shifts clearing, all the DOs in the area they cover also had to clearJb1969 wrote: ↑27 Dec 2023, 17:22Mail Centres have claimed, really.

Few DO's in our area got there's not sure on how many times they got there targets, however the MC didnt get it as one or two DO's failed to meet target every week.
Even before this started the union rep said you havent a chance of getting it, Glad some of you posties were able to get it.

Nope. Failed every week. Didn't even clear on Sat 23rd when we were told to only deliver previous days mail. Office hasn't been clear since xmas eve 2021!
