Apparently, there's a network revision in January which will roll down through everything. Later starts are definitely coming according to our rep. I'm told some distribution units have been testing later runs to D.O.'s, some as late as 7.30-8.00am.

What’s the deal with all large parcels going on dedicated parcel routes in the afternoon via the 300 parcel hubs? Our office is meant to be a hub and there was talk of this happening last year but it’s all gone silent. It’s in the latest agreement with the CWU that this will happen nationwide by April 2024 but it’s all went suspiciously dark on that. Anyone heard anything?

Probably the hubs haven't got enough staff to cover their own work, before all the DPRs get dumped on them

Think it'll near enough mean the end of early shift in MCs as I can see most if not all 2C and T48 being done on night shifts

You should already know the provisional start time changes. There was a list posted. It won’t be 90 minutes for everyone.

I think you can forget the list. We were told an hour initially now we are told 90 mins here. We knew it would happen.

Go on then, DPR starting say 11am onwards - any idea who is going to be doing them unless they go down the agency route again. As stated it's our slow indoor performance they're coming after next ( don't worry about those who come in 2 hours early then) All aboard the New Year Carve Up slash n burn

Probably also a case of any idea where they'll get the vans from as the vans that aren't f****d are probably all already spoken for

They've already come for slow indoor performance at our DO, at least 3 of our long term 30hr contract guys have been told not to come in at FT hours as the company are paying them 7 hours a week to do nothing.
And yes, that means those of us who come in early and do the work now have to double/triple prep all the time... But only the 30hr people. The ft staff can still rush about prepping one duty and get out the door an hour before everyone else.
The worst thing about this is that the 3 walks affected by this have actually improved, performance wise

I think the discussions are to get rid of DPRs and go back to 'once over the ground'.

Anyone who joined after summer 2021 unless you want to pick one of those duty’s. Apparently their contracts say they can be required to work upto 7pm
