Just a quick heads up for those who may NOT be aware.

Seasonal Adjusted Hours STOPPED today

I didn't know until someone else told me. I'm sure I'm not alone.

So basically we're all back to our normal start time .... No more coming in 25 mins early and working for FREE. If you're still coming in early, which a lot of Posties do at this time of the year, just make sure you're booking that extra 25 mins as PRESSURE and Not working for FREE

Our Manager never said anything about it, I'm sure they're hoping a lot of Posties will be unaware and not claim the extra OT.

Our manager had a major sulk on when he realised everyone had come in later on their normal start times. He never briefed it but the rep made sure everyone knew.

Myself and a few others came in 45 minutes early on early ips, obviously paid, a few of our colleagues however came in to work for free, some actually arrived before us others arrived 30 minutes early

We lowly reserves weren’t told about it either as our manager did his usual and held a shop floor huddle before our start time

If it wasn’t for the smoking shelter and it’s occupants I wouldn’t know about any changes we’ve had

Thanks to smoking that’s 10minutes of my life I’ve got back every day or at least until seasonal variation kicks in again

But honestly why the f**k would you change it to a shorter working day on the busiest week of the year??? What a set of absolute muppets, you just couldn’t make it up

Yeah, they don't have breaks either, our office is fine for booking overtime, no issues or questions if you extend so they've done themselves out of I reckon at least £50 per week these last few weeks, mind you when it's quieter they manage to finish early so in effect they've f****d themselves and ultimately they'll help to f**k the rest of the office.. again.
