You do have time.

Prep your D2D's in as per instructions then cut off because you haven't enough time to complete because you've prepped your walk as required by the company.

Prepped mine in on docket and got most of them done on Monday but we went over by a couple hours. Some houses will have received 2 some none but it gets them out the door. Manager said we were throwing out too many parcels for the agency dpr drivers but we just laughed at him.

My manager told me not to worry about my D2D the other week as I tried to fit them into a bulging frame as they are 'a pain in the arse'!

There are companies out there that just deliver leaflets. Why are we not giving them this work if we can't manage to fulfil our obligations to do them due to the parcels during peak?? Surely they expect this stuff to be delivered and not sat underneath frames for weeks gathering dust?
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

There has to be more profit for them delivering D2Ds than letters. I’m surprised they aren’t prioritising them tbh. We’ve not had any on our round for the last two weeks.

We had a Salvation Army about 2 weeks ago and now again this week. When I'm handing them over with a small packet or parcel I've had numerous people look ati it, tut and go 'What's this - again?' or choice words to that effect....

If you had duties that just delivered D2D, which wouldn't need much indoor time, how many walks worth could 1 duty probably clear each day?

Well that's a 'How long's a piece of string?' question and it's never going to happen, RM are not going to send a D2D postie and a 'normal' postie
on the same route, that's what 'warm calling' is for.

Commercial Product & Proc Improvemnt Mgr ⋅ Needs to speak to his management team if he wants these delivered. I don’t make the decision of what to prioritise but sure as hell my COM thinks D2Ds are at the bottom of the list :hmmmm
Not bottom, the mail is scraping the barrel at the bottom of priority. Sad days indeed

We've been told we must keep on top of our households even if we can't keep on top of letters!

Correct. We have to clear households, we do not have to clear letters.

Becuase they dont want to fulfil the obligations, but do want to continue taking their money. if i was a company paying for this service i would be seeking legal action or compensation from these corrupt sh***s

I have to be honest it makes business sense in an office that can’t clear. Losing D2D contracts should prioritise over letters that are part of the USO. What a mess this company is in.

That would be 100% call rate on duties that are currently generated at something south of 50%, so I'd say less than one. Particularly for more than two contracts which would be increasingly inefficient if not collated (not nested!), which would also require some indoor work unless the MC sorted them in the legendary D2D envelopes. :left:

The thing about delivering D2D seperately is that it would be like a TV channel that only showed adverts. They need addressed mail alongside it to attract the eyeballs or else a cursory glance will condemn it instantly to the bin.
The machine stops.
