Grant McPherson and Zereena brown are leaving Royal mail at the end of the year. Alistair Cochrane is taking over from Grant. No one is in place to replace Zereena at the moment. Leaving a sinking ship comes to mind.

So with Simon Thompson officially leaving at the end of October, I was expecting the announcement of his replacement.

Brown's off to a new job so I doubt she'll get a pay off?

I assume these two are seen as Thompson's clonies and the Board will now want to bring in different people, whether that's good or bad news for it's employees is anybody's guess. Given the architects of all the changes seem to be leaving it'll be interesting to see if the late starts still go ahead in the spring.

But who was leading that decision the BoD or Thompson & co, looking at the press headlines this weekend RM is in a mess do they really want to make it an even bigger mess by losing even more staff of the move to later hours still goes ahead? If they delay it for a couple of years by then most people won't even be regularly sending letters!!
