Tracked 24

Post by scoobymunster »

Is Royal Mail short changing itself with the push towards these instead of SDs? We're being inundated with them and are told to prioritise these along with SDs at the expense of Tracked 48/everything else. I can honestly say I've never imagined our office could fail so badly this year. :thumbdown

In your defence I have been in 4 DO’s which have been in complete disarray.Whole offices have been told to completely ignore there deliveries & concentrate on tracked.
As for the rest, it’s well publicised that the country is suffering the same.
The Royal Mail plan is not quite working out!

Tracked 24 has become really big over the weekends, it is used for gold label sunday parcel delivery.

What we see at the MC is alot of tracked 24 turning up on sunday nights, where it has missed the sunday delivery altogether by not making to the inward MC on saturday nights.

These will them turn up at DO's on monday mornings and there will be an expectation to prioritise them with the specials.

A lot of our Sunday Track 24 seem to be all 'inaccessible' on our rural deliveries :hmmmm

My old DO would fail any postcode which isn't their normal catchment area on a Sunday, which normally means my current DO get shafted on a Monday!
