Leaving And Handing in Notice?

Make sure you get paid for the extra 2 hours a week seasonal hours you have worked

Just work our how much holiday you're owed- last day of December is a nice round 3/4 of your entitlement.
Remember to add any bank holidays over Xmas.
If you're owed 4 days or whatever, say your last day is the 31st and tell them you're on leave from the 28th and won't be back.
That way you're not chasing anything.
Keep screenshots of leave.

Oh forget to say, could I put my notice in for when I am off at the start of Jan and therefore not have to 'work' a weeks notice?

I left end of October and took 2 weeks off before my new Job.
I handed in 4 weeks notice, if you know you’re leaving date might aswell give them as much notice as possible to give them time to advertise.
I got final pay check about two weeks after I’d left. All holiday pay and the extra seasonal hours paid.

My service length about same as yours.
First week in new job was little strange but now I know what I’m doing the best decision I’ve ever made. So much easier, more appreciated, lots more energy, management appreciate you with thank you etc
Should have left when park and loop started.

You won’t regret it

Thanks Pal, going to do Christmas collect my tips! and hand my notice in on the 3rd (annual leave that week for me) so I won't have to work a week in hand so to speak!

I just hope everything goes well as you just never know after being in a job for 20+ years and it being a secure place of employment.
