Is it true RM are offering an additional £500 bonus to units hitting delivery targets?

What about DO’s that have had failed revisions imposed?
Surely this can’t be fair on the rest of us

£250 of that is if all MCs and DOs clear for a week, something which obviolsy won't happen. £250 is the local aspect, for a DO the DO needs to clear for the whole week. For MCs the MC and all the DOs in the area they cover have to clear, which again will never happen.

MCs will get f**k all whilst some DOs have a chance of getting the local aspect

As above no one is getting the full 500, 250 of that depends on offices nationwide, the offices in trouble thread is increasing so it's clear there's no chance of a nationwide bonus.

It's a con, tell the press we are offering £500 bonus for delivering xmas for us. Makes them look good to try to deflect from the negativity coming their way as parcels are given preference over letters.
"But it's not our fault, we even offered them a bonus and the lazy posties still wouldn't do it. What more can we do?" As they throw us all under the bus.
They ain't stupid and outplay us every time.
Our dim/dom/com whatever you call them, was keeping us informed how we were doing for all of 1 week and once it started to go pear shaped he mysteriously kept quiet.
£250 was never achievable and the rest is dependant on perfection, clear office, no missed scans, all collections done correctly and helping those pigs to fly...... you know what i mean, you were never getting it!
I figure they might throw a few shekels our way to say "We gave you something" but for the majority, not a penny.

Some people are looking at this the wrong way round , I am constantly being told about this bonus by my manager in order to try and bribe me into stay out and clear , to whit my reply is that I have a right to finish on time and I will be asserting that right I don’t want overtime I want time with my family , any such bonus is exactly what it says on the tin, a bonus , so if I don’t get anything I’m no worse off.

Yeah totally agree they’ll throw the lot of us under the bus then say - “You can do it at Christmas you can do it all year round”

What amazes me though is Part timer’s coming in half hour early now made up to full time for Xmas and still coming in half hour early, people literally busting a bo@@ock for them, ass kissers galore

Aye, totally agree with what Scotchy said. This bonus scheme was something dreamt up in the boardroom knowing full well that mail was obviously going to fail at Xmas as it has been doing nationwide for months. The company have previously blamed this on Covid, industrial action, sickness etc but have never blamed on it themselves - the perpetrators - who have deliberately understaffed offices and made, in my experience, unachievable revisions. If our office didn't clear during the summer then what chance do we really have during "peak"? The company have thrown literally dozens of agency staff at us who they seem to have dragged off the streets to try and clear but it hasn't worked because they aren't up to speed and because management are telling us to focus on parcels (which has increased in part due to the bigger duties) instead of letters.

To offer another perspective on this, maybe those offices that have successfully achieved their side of the bonus will be due to be targeted for potential cuts whilst those that "failed" will be more adequately equipped in future?
