It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Nothing to be proud of when the delivery end of the system has been completely crippled.

Hundreds, if not 1000's sitting untouched and rolling over day after day.

We sort it and attempt what we can. What's left is marked up with the date and left overnight. Rolled out on to the loading bay first thing to make room for the new stuff. New stuff sorted, and old stuff chipped away at, what's left rolled in for the night. I have no idea how long this will repeat for. At one point we had yorks that had done this hokey cokey for 5 days

It's almost as if the whole 'business model' is based on lies, from the very top down

The RM media channel have to show something to justify its existence?? Problem is not that many posties or even managers are that interested anymore. Only the most devoted of COMs are bothering with WTLL sessions and daily huddles it seems to me.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Record tracked amounts then! Along with most D.O’s being bulked out and struggling to cope. No doubt the figures will be well and truly doctored when it comes to reporting Christmas volumes and potential profit declarations. Get ready for “over the Christmas pressure period we only broke even on profit as we are still suffering a Covid 19 and industrial action hangover” Strange how that won’t be relevant when the big wigs bonuses are dished out! :no no

Reminds me of seeing graphs on the notice boards in my office, where the axes aren't labelled so anyone looking at them has no idea what the data represents.

So whats the point of all these tracked , there is VERY LITTLE PROFIT in them . A parcel as big as some of them would cost triple with other companies. We are giving a service as good as special delivery for a fraction of the real cost.
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Found a trailer load of tracked 24 at NDC that had been forgotten about for 2 weeks, don’t suppose that included in figures.
