Right not the greatest at pensions looking for help,
I all ready pay into avcs but just see a thread on FB royalmail chat etc.
The person said we pay 6% into our pensions and rmg pay 10%.
The person in the chat wants to increase his contribution up to 10% is this possible and how much does the extra 4% cost .
Thanks

Re: Pension help
If you're in the RMDCP, then RM's contribution is 10% to your 6%, unless you've opted to pay less.
Any AVC's will go into your pot along with your regular payments.
If you're in the RMPP/DBCBS, then it's 13.6% from RM to your 6%.
AVC's can go into Bonusplan and/or Flexiplan.
Pension payments are based on your pensionable pay, which is on your wage slip as 'pensions contrib pay'. So a 4% increase would be 4% of that figure.
