I do a fair days work for a fair days pay and go home on time. Will be doing the same at Christmas. No-one in 10 years has once questioned my commitment or performance.
If you want the O/T and are prepared to work hard for it, fair play to you. I've got no problem at all with that approach. Make hay while you can. But don't criticise those who aren't interested. We owe this company NOTHING. If it impacts on the public its RM managements problem NOT ours!
You do you, and let me and the Foxel do us![]()

Re: Working your hours
I have Pride in my work and I do what I'm paid to do, then I go home and have pride in being a Husband and a father. Not sure why that bothers you.

What a kind offer, thank you herodmoth, I didn’t mind working as hard as usual but now you’re offering to do it for me, well I won’t look a git horse in the mouth.heraldmoth wrote: ↑28 Nov 2023, 09:15Nothing to do with management it’s about having pride in your work and serving the public whom we let down last year. Anyone not wanting to work just step off and take a back seat, I’ll personally clear all and claim the OT as perFoxel wrote: ↑27 Nov 2023, 21:53I'm advocating not being walked over by management and you think that makes me a yes voter.heraldmoth wrote: ↑27 Nov 2023, 21:47Self indulgent drivel, I’m guessing you also voted yes and left us in this place![]()

Re: Working your hours
Well that’s essentially what ppl are doing, leaving what they don’t do for someone more capable to clear. The gift horse you talk about is surely being payed 500 quid a week to do what is hard but not back breaking work

In my experience, people more likely to clear, in poorly run offices, are those who start early for free, run around cutting corners and cutting up rounds. It shouldn’t need that to happen for rounds to clear.

Re: Working your hours
My question always is how do u know how long a duty will take, who knows who will or won’t be in or what traffic will be like on the roads..it’s a case of I’ll take whatever they want but I’ll be back on time.

Same here and I've brought Tracked items back to the office but my PDA still says 100% Tracked items delivered?? If RM are using our PDA data as a basis for the bonus then the figures are obviously false?
