Slow SatNav on PDA

Post by deristrong »

I've just started a duty doing LAT's in a mainly rural area going to places I've never heard of. The navigation on the PDA is OK but I often go past the destination by the time it says "arrived" and I'm a slow driver!. I end up stopping and walking back which eats up time. Is this just how it is or is it because I'm out in the sticks?

That’s how it is. I’ve had the pda crash and parcel list lost, not a very efficient system.

The PDA/Sat Nav also as a screen for a reason, surely you don't drive just by the audio instructions?
