For example, what if the mail was held back in the mail centre or stood down in the delivery office?

Mil doesn't get held back in MCs during Xmas pressure. Once it has been processed it gets sent out on the first available lorry to the next office (MC/RDC/DO) that it's destined for.

We already know that we're going to be over absolute maximum capacity for Tracked so we've not got any chance of clearing. The only chance we might have is if all CSS staff are taken off the CSSs and put on Tracked. With the iLSM just sorting to office level only and the space where the yorks for the batches, manual and firms would go used for extra Tracked setups

Mail does get held back in my MC last night 50 Yorks of Tracked 48 Lumps was "Held" because the Xmas Casuals on Lumps had to be moved onto the Small Tracked to clear. Now obviously if it is only Tracked 48 in amongst those Yorks no problem but we all know that is not how work comes in from the rest of the Network. On Monday night Tuesday morning it was 6 20 am when the Tracked and Mech was pushed out for Despatch no idea how this work will have got to the Delivery Offices. So would imagine no bonus for any office in our area this week and this is before it gets busy

Tracked 48 won't need to be completed on nights, just whatever the quota is for nights to get processed. Some MCs will divert their 2C and T48 to other MCs during Xmas pressure

It's not unusual to get SDs in the yorks and sleeves from other MCs, more so on the large. We've started to get the odd Tracked and SDs in the mech from other MCs

It amazes me how the thought of £25 extra a week (But only for a limited time) gets people excited, the other £25 will never be paid out seeing as how its based on national performance and they knew this from the get go.
Now if it was a constant rolling payment then that would be a incentive!
Anywho as has been said it's an attempt to somehow get xmas delivered, probably should have made it optional so that the poor person or sensible person (Depends how you look at it) who can't or won't work o/t wouldn't feel guilty or be harassed into completing.
All it will do is put postie against postie.
Me personally have no real interest in o/t and haven't done for a number of years now and even i feel pressured into trying to complete by my fellow workers, all for £25.
Makes you think don't it, how easily and cheaply people can be bought.

Given how unhappy they sound on here it makes you wonder why they go to work at all if they don’t care about the money and don’t enjoy the job anyway.

We seem to be performing worse now than when we out on strike because at least our office were clearing the day or so afterwards last year. Now there is really no incentive to clear because even those who complete their duties are that knackered they can't be bothered to do any extra loops on docket. No one really wants to be out delivering mail at 5pm everyday.

Aye, it could be up to 90 minutes later and one of the main reasons I voted against the deal. Maybe the posties who voted for the deal will be doing overtime instead to maintain the USO compliance?

Maybe its one of the reasons why RM have introduced the bonus payment - to encourage those to work past their time?

Could potentially be later than that. There was a mention in another thread that RM are thinking of moving everything in yorks and sleeves and not using bags anymore. That would mean an end to any plane flights within the UK so timing wise would almost certainly mean later dispatches from MCs to DOs and later start times in DOs probably on the top of the already proposed later start times
