My bundle travel insurance.

Evening all.
Have just taken out worldwide travel insurance thru My bundle with Aviva for £1.10 per week.
Has anyone any experience of claiming with them?
My wife has health issues but according to this question and answer copied below all is covered.
No health questions have been asked and insurance now in place.

(Am I covered for pre-existing medical conditions?
Yes, however Aviva will not pay any claim where an Insured Person is travelling against the advice of a Qualified Medical Practitioner or where a terminal complaint has been diagnosed or where the purpose of the Insured Journey is to receive medical treatment or advice.)

Am I missing anything obvious?

Having read the clause and this is given in advice to enquire with Aviva what if your wife on one of your trips had to enter hospital for a pre-existing medical condition could that in the eyes of the insurance company the purpose of the insured journey is to receive medical treatment or advice.
Have Aviva disclosed their excess payments on medical treatment?

We haven't had to make a claim yet, but I took this policy out as, like you, I have a wife with various medical conditions and it is a cracking deal compared to most travel insurance where you have to declare these conditions and get a tailored price.

I can't see any ambiguity in the Ts & Cs.

It clearly states you will not be covered if you are told by a doctor you can NOT fly and all pre existing medical problems are covered

Why should they refuse one and not the other? Just goes to show why everyone should know first aid and how to use a defibrillator.

You should really download a copy of the documents especially if (by the sounds of it you're travelling soon):

Covered:

Travel or accommodation costs in the event of a catastrophe
(e.g. earthquake, hurricane, pandemic)

but not covered:

Travelling against the advice of the United Kingdom
Foreign, Commonwealth Office & Development Office
(FCDO)

Catastrophe – Not covered when you decide to leave your
booked accommodation when the authorities say it is
acceptable to remain
