Has anyone else who works in collections had their delivery supplement changed to a collections supplement which is much less?

Yes , I've lost about £914 a year ( bye bye pay rise !) We weren't even told it was happening and just found out when the wage slips appeared on Tuesday afternoon . We've obviously got the union involved and it's up with headquarters who are seeking a resolution .
Apparently it's to do with the management restructure which means we are no longer attached to a Delivery Office .

Anyone with half a brain cell can see the union have lost any type of power & RM are basically steamrolling ahead and doing whatever they like.

The truth of matter is Processing & collection staff just see the £££ and voted yes to the surrender doc,thinking that it never really affected them,now they want to cry about losing supplement.

I thought that collections had been tagged to MCs for a good few years.

The truth of matter is Processing & collection staff just see the £££ and voted yes to the surrender doc,thinking that it never really affected them,now they want to cry about losing supplement.

MC and RDC staff combined have been outnumbered by delivery staff by about 2:1 (could well now be 3:1). It doesn't matter which way we vote, our votes only make a difference if it's a close race between yes and no

It's lower because the delivery supplement partly compensates for the removal of the d2d payment that delivery posties earned.

Waiting over ; if you think this is blaming the union and not processing and collection staff then I give up on sensible debate on here and I'll get back to crying about losing my supplement.
