Return to service

Post by Jantyc0611 »

I’ve returned to service with Royal Mail after trying another role elsewhere. I was with Royal Mail for 23 years. Under the old contracts is it true that if you return within a year you keep all your previous t&c’s.

I doubt it. Royal Mail has torn up every single terms and conditions agreements. Even the ones they still agree to. It's all change my friend.
But I hope that I am wrong. Good luck.

The only thing you retained was previous service counting towards leave entitlement, I'd assume that's still the case but you never know these days, everything else ie seniority is gone the second you walk out through the door.

When you re started did you apply online as a new starter would, if so you should be fully aware of your t&cs.
