At the end if you're still prepping and everyone else is walking out the door then all the more reason to leave loops. And the business wonders why some posties still manage to clock out early. Until RM get a grip on its managers it will always be the case unfortunately.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Be cool and calm and just say "No worries but it might mean I can't complete. Il see what I can do and ring you if Im bringing stuff back". Have a chat with the rep so they are up on the situation. Honestly, just let them f**k it up at this point and try not to worry. If they start to pressure you for not completing then thats bullying and harassment so get a grievance in.

I do whatever they tell me now even when I know it'll go completely wrong. Remember all these graduates (who've never done a walk and still wear Velcro shoes) always know best!!!
