Unfortunately I have zero advice to give here, but it's clear how much support you've got on this forum.

The famous "I'm alright Jack" mentality is stronger than ever within Royal Mail.

Good luck with the IHR claim. :pray

Without having seen your report it is hard to see why it was turned down.
However if that evidence is wrong you can go to your own Doctors & have that evidence reversed.
In the position you are in now I would suggest a Manager has been either lazy or ignorant of the process itself.
My only advice is to push it a Rep in the hope he/she can get to the bottom of what’s occurred.

If the OP's been waiting nearly 3 years for a response it sounds to me neither the CWU nor RM are even prepared to consider the claim and both are just ignoring it hoping it goes away. The only way to force a response is to get a solicitor involved, either via the CWU or independently.

Cheers
Have CWU Legal team on it now. RM still not responding to the emails they've sent though!

I think the CWU legal team needs to press your case and get some response!
RM either want to give you a pay out or don’t!
If they don’t then RM needs to give a reason which you can dispute through the courts.

I would also suggest getting re referred to o/h and starting the process again...it appears to me that management haven't followed the process correctly.

Has anyone pushed to stay in the job ?
I know most want to leave because of their medical condition.
I’m curious as at some point RM will look to get rid of me and although I know longer want to be here I don’t want to walk away without challenging their culture of it’s always the employee who needs to adjust
