My opinion - in the circumstances described your colleague would have no defence saying 'I never noticed'. If your colleague does
OT then it's understandable that an extra say 30 minutes added could be not noticed - but a day? I've seen reminders somewhere
(possibly on the paper pay slips when we got them) that you are supposed to check and notify management/HR of any errors and
you are liable for monies to be recovered - but we don't get paper pay slips any more do we!!

Yeah, say you dont't have the app and paper payslips were stopped so i can't check my wages anymore.

I used to regularly get someone else's overtime - same surname and same first name initial. Until they left.

I never told anyone and always left it to RM to find out themselves.

Sometimes I had to pay it back the following week, which was fair enough. Sometimes I didn't.

Seemed to depend on the manager dealing with it.

As far as I'm concerned, if I get underpaid then I make a fuss and make sure I get what I'm due. If I'm overpaid, I keep my mouth shut.

It would be a bit late for that, the last one was at the end of August.
