WANTED: Red Cagoule. Did anyone have one they no longer use?

Post by SimonSays »

Hi everyone.

I'm not a fan of the Storm Coat. I was wondering if anyone has an old lightweight Royal Mail Cagoule (small or medium size) that they don't need. It rains a lot where I delivery, not heavy usually light. The cagoule was perfect. The storm jacket I found heavy and made me too warm.

I'm happy to pay for it. Many thanks in advance.

That's weird. Thought they were still available. Just checked and they're not. Still use mine, although it's getting a bit tatty now. There were a few hanging around at our place, so I'll keep a look out for you

There's a Yorkie at our place full of old uniform from all the folk who've recently left, I'll have a look on Monday.

One of the lads is proudly wearing a new Harrington that he found on it :Very Happy

Sorry to jump on, if you find a fleece in XL I’ll happily take that from you! (Will obviously pay postage)

:thumbup It's almost as if wearing the new uniform is embarassing and the service is now shameful.
The machine stops.

£21.64 + £15.32 postage and it seems you can have one. Bit pricey on the postage!

Yep fine for a few light showers, but do the job at this time of year given those conditions. Replacement seems to be the sweaty softshell fleece 👎🏻

The new storm coat is horrendously bulky.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’
