OK so the Royal Mail Pension Plan Benefit Illustration arrived this morning (squirrel - since 2012).

Capita are posting out their own statements (RMSPS - up to 31 March 2012), by the end of September.

My query is in the purple section of page 2, my Age60 Final Salary pension addition (+supplement) - both boxes say £0, and I was just wondering what other employees have in these boxes ?
It may be linked to inflation and that my numbers haven't been calculated yet, but I just wanted to make sure.

It really would be so much simpler to get all this information in one place.

It also highlights the importance of contributing that extra little bit each week with Addplan or AVC's.

The statements are hard to read and poorly designed on paper

They could make it so much simpler and easier to read instead they want to make nice coloured boxes

Hey Jefferson, thanks, yes I have re-read the paperwork and it clearly states that Addplan ended in 2018.

My mistake, apologies for that.

Just to add a bit of detail:

Addplan bought more years in the final salary scheme.

When the FS scheme closed to future accrual in 2008, anyone already paying into Addplan was allowed to continue, but no new applications were allowed.

It closed completely in 2018.

Have any deferred members had their statements yet? I am deferred and think I got last years in October.

Got mine and I'm now trying to understand it as the format has changed from my last statement.

So relieved I went for the Added Years all that time ago! And was so lucky that I reached 60 just months before they stopped it completely. Still surprised they didn't try to close it in 2008 when the final salary was closed...

Well I left the business in March 2021 and I've not received a single statement since then from either of the schemes that I'm enrolled in.

Anyone else had this issue?

Likewise, well happy with mine especially when my AVC's are added on too. Nice increase in DBCBS too.
