Any other MC being bribed to complete trust survey?

Post by Inky »

So today we were told that if we complete the trust survey we will be put into a draw to win 2 days leave? Is this even ethical or allowed?

If you win , the 2 days will probably disappear due to seasonal variation or there wont be any room on the leave calendar to use them.

Managers get bonuses if they hit a certain figure for surveys returned , I haven’t done one in years and they change nothing anyway.

So you complete survey on your phone...or you don't...how would they know?
I'm amazed by the number of people who bend over backwards to get their managers a bonus, the same work shy, bullying, zero skilled narcissistic c***s who at every opportunity tell us we are slow, lazy and won't except change.
Hey fill it in you might get a gold star and a pat on the head.

Our last manager filled them in himself, we had a 120% response rate.

I was ambushed after a few beers(night before) into doing this after not completing feedback survey for years. Just used to draw a cartoon and that was it. The world has changed a lot. Was asked if I was heterosexual/straight or another choice. Also asked, and now I know I am completely a dinosaur, if my gender was the same as when I was born. I am thinking of retiring just outside of Inverness where the next neighbour is miles away.

You gotta get your sites trust survey score under 90% to deny the managers the bonus.

So even if there was 100% turnout, if the score if crap - they don't get the bonus?

Surely it should be more about getting a good score than getting a good turnout.

We have been offered a bribe of a lottery draw for 1 days annual leave for those who complete the trust survey. This is supposed to be a confidential survey, yet manager was marking off people's names for staff completing survey with the excuse they would be entered into the draw for an extra days leave !
Sounds scandalous that we are being bribed and harassed to complete a survey that is supposed to be voluntary. I agree with previous posts that this is for the benefit of management and not workers, as ties in with the managers bonuses.
If other sites are getting 2 days as a bribe, then why are we only getting 1 day !!!
Also beggars the question that we struggle to book normal annual leave, also being told daily Royal Mails financial woes, that the business can now give away annual leave for free !!!

Their bonus is calculated on participation, results do not matter.
