Seasonal working and blatant ignoring of National Agreement.

Post by hazzeem025 »

Any other Delivery Offices being forced to work an extra 48 mins on just Wed, Thurs, Fri? Instead of the Nationally agreed 24 mins? Bearing in mind no other D.O's in the area are having to do this. Seems the reasoning coming from up high is we're a shite office and our call rate is low/number of delivery points attended per hour isn't fast enough or something along those lines. You literally couldn't make it up.

where is your union rep in this? I would expect point blank refusal of this in most offices

Union involved from the off. Progressing higher. CWU have been told that we're willing to be balloted for industrial action over this. Absolutely stinks. How can you treat one severely understaffed D.O completely differently to the others in the area. Stinks to high heaven and back.

Ours have stuck to the agreement on this - 24 minutes at the start of your duty Mon -Sat, 10 minutes for part timers...

Walk out, take the whole office out. This would get the attention of all that need to address this. Yes you would probably be threatened with all sorts of shite, but it is not you that are in the wrong here. National agreement must stand regardless of what the inept management think.

Why don't you just turn up 24mins early each day as per the agreement?
What are they going to do?

been happening in our office for the last 8 years 3 failed revisions by an incompetent planner and system, rather than try and sort it out properly the shithouses just carry on with the bullying and harassment and the cwu know about this but have done nothing, sometimes our office feels alone ,demotivated and not good enough.

It doesn’t even add up mathematically so it shouldn’t be happening on that alone.

Unless everyone has a rotating day off , reserves could be working way more hours than they should be.

None of you should stand for it.
