Said this about last years survey before but again it seems pretty easy to fill in a survey for any office and possibly as many times as you can.

Just start putting in the team code and it'll come up with numerous offices you (or a manager whose office participation
is poor) could select.

This survey has been watered down to the point where what they ask is so vague and pointless anyway I don’t know what the value of doing it even is. to varying degrees we all know what’s going on above us, 90% ticking boxes 10% doing the job. there’s never any problem solving it’s always “right how do we fudge this issue”

I think the main tell is, that they hustle round and make sure completion is 100%. How can you trust a survey that’s questions are complete grey areas. “Do you think your management team does a good job” who the f**k is my management team? Lino? area? Sector? Directors? CEO?
“Are you valued in the workplace?” By who???

They try to get you to do it on an app. on their phone, so don't fall for that one. Also, don't send your post card back, they might try to use the code to add your vote that way.

How can you trust a survey that’s questions are complete grey areas.

For years I objected to the question that was something like 'Do you understand the need for change?'. An answer in the negative will be registered as a failure of comprehension (lay on more propaganda) rather than opposition to the specific changes being implemented. A properly worded survey eliminates such ambiguities because there's a legitimate interest in learning participants' opinions.

I remember last year the manager saying to us 'Please fill the trust survey in, I don't care if you write bad things about me, write whatever you like'...

and I was thinking - why is he encouraging us to fill this thing in, why is it so important and why is he telling us he doesn't care if we give bad feedback.....

it's because he gets a bonus for getting a certain % of them done????

Who would fill one of these in if they knew it got their manager a bonus..... most people would not do it.

To misquote Ken Livingstone , if surveys changed anything they wouldn’t do them. Just ignore it ,they get a bonus for the participation of staff,not what you say in the survey. They will fill them all in themselves anyway, therefore it’s corrupted from the start.
