Annualised hours remain, and we still work 30hrs extra for nothing this financial year.
You will attend for 30hrs extra, nothing saying you cant tidy your fitting up or find something else slow in the office to do.

What is the fascination with the financial year from our point of view?
Do you have to submit a set of accounts by April?

Enough for you to reply.
Seasonal hours is annualised hours. The cwu trying to promote this as anything else is a lie. I will work more hours this financial year. Business cycles are through the financial year. Pension contributions also. I might have to submit accounts, who knows. The cwu failed to negotiate a good deal. Royal Mail have failed to manage the company properly. It's only a matter of time to see where this takes the company.

Of all the things in this pathetic surrender document that Dodgy Dave and his millionaire club at CWU HQ secured for us working for free is the one that boils my piss! f***ing embarrassing and shameful!

Bizarrely our Com has gone from adding 24 minutes to the end to now saying nothing is going to change. Turn up Monday usual time, finish usual time.
I sometime wonder if we all work for the same company.

Try to look on the bright side. When we get our 2 hours a week back next year it will be paid at 2% more than your hourly rate this year :dance

Isn’t that discriminatory?

There is a list of SPDOs and a few DOs who are exempt, if you're not on the list it will go ahead no matter what some managers are saying.

Any individual local exceptions have to be entered into a national database.

I think a lot of managers are going to get burned over this if they think they can ignore it and do their own thing.

What a ridiculous situation. You can’t have half the country doing one thing and half doing another. When it comes to summer, will they still be working shorter hours? Absolute chaos, but perhaps not unexpected.

My office is not on the list! Someone's playing the 'local agreement' card but forgot to tell their masters :dance

You can't have a local agreement that is at odds with a national agreement.
No managers and no reps have the authority to make up their own s**t.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Monday morning starting same time, finishing same time. National agreement or not that's what's happening. It's a better deal than the CWU came up with.
