For part timers who do a full time shift it is 24 minutes. The faq’s sheet has since been updated and I think it’s question number 42 which answers this issue.
There is no way I'll work the same amount of FT and PT shifts In both seasons. So there is no way of guaranteeing I'd get the same amount of banked money back for any FT shifts I worked.

And how do they record this? I work different rounds everyday, all with varying times. RM don't always seem to know what I'm doing until the last second. Some rounds are PT but only slightly shorter than a FT round, at peak OT would easily come into play and make it FT hours. Do they then automatically bank 14 minutes, they don't know the start times for most rounds. We've even been told if the work is there we can come in early and finish early as long as we work our hours.

Honestly, I don't think they know.

You have shorter rounds for part timers? Don't part timers just start later at yours then?

The big question is how will the system interpret that? Will the system just see it as someone finishing early, ignoring that they started early?

The part timers who do a full time shift can choose how much overtime they do, they are under no contractual obligation to work an additional 24 minutes if they don’t want to. Part time contract = 10 minutes extra and anything on top of that is optional overtime that they can agree to work.

The system "should" record the amount of time worked. For example, in one sub I work in, there are 4 different starting times across 10 rounds. I could cover any of those. Either the system doesn't care about actual start times (a manager might look and he might raise an issue) or it just isn't going to work for a random cover staff member.

Part-timers who have their own rounds, have short rounds. But Part-timers who are reserves get put on any rounds and start at the same time as full-timers. This is mostly suburb rounds.

In the big DOs we have, PT's are more likely to start about a couple of hours after the FT. But again cover PT's would always start at FT times. Though there are still a handful of shorter HCT rounds.
