Old uniform

Post by supershaf »

Anyone got any old blue short sleeve shirts size 15.5 or medium? I'm willing to pay.

I saw one on eBay last week (pre-2010, 15.5 collar). Just checked and it sold on Friday.

As much as criminals might be after uniforms for nefarious ends, they're probably outnumbered by current employees embarassed by the new uniform. Definitely the case with the old footwear because the bidding often halts exactly at £30.

I recently mistakenly ordered two medium long sleeve shirts instead small. I'm Blues shirts size small, red polos size medium. Was in a rush to get them that i mixed my sizes up.

I was going to swap a colleague for the new red long sleeves once i find what size fits me.

Really? I wear the old one and would rather quit than wear the new garbage. And I am hoping to quit soon.

Surely they're purple by now? Or have they not washed them since 2010?

I had about 20 short sleeve 15.5" blue shirts in my cupboard, from when I retired, and couldn't carry all my uniform back to MC.
But I cut them up a couple of months ago, kept some pieces to use as cleaning cloths. The cuffs and collars went in bin.

I got 3 never worn, still in wrapper at home. I won't part with them as they'll have to last 5 years. The red ones are abysmal. Good luck in your search..
