I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I wonder why mis deliveries are on the increase?

If management dont give a s**t and I mean from the top down then why should we...how about concentrating on actually getting the mail out on time first :chuckle

Haha between them our agency/latest new starters have raised the amount of misdeliveries to an all time record high and I suspect it's going to get much worse, as someone else pointed out "you reap what you sow" perhaps all the long standing dedicated posties were doing a good job after all, never mind, RM thought they were easily replaced with lower paid staff who'd be just as conscientious :left:

Royal Mail must have thought bringing in casuals who don’t give a f**k would have their attitude changed by seeing the hard working long serving staff do things, seems it’s gone the other way and we’re taking the lead from them…..I’ll do my job as I always have, after that I couldn’t give a s**t about where your parcel or mail is

So the upper management want us to do the job by the book but in all delivery offices it’s like the Wild West. It’s like the people at the top have no idea what going on. Oh wait they don’t.

Redirect failure is sky high too in our office. People rushing to get out the door forgetting to do them.

The USP of Royal Mail was reputation/standards, that has all eroded away now. RM will never be the cheapest delivery method it doesn't take some GCE's Rodney to work that out.
