Had they been up front about the reason I wouldn't have had a problem with it, a bank like any other company should be free to make its own ethical decisions on who it has as a customer.

The issue is they got themselves in a mess telling porkies.

I disagree especially when such bank is still 38% owned by the taxpayer. I mean what other excuses could they use to de bank somebody? Voting Tory? Not believing trans women are women you open a huge hole. Over ten thousand people have accounts closed with NatWest without explanation this now has just opened a huge can of worms.

Coutts can’t even say they only provide services for so called good people when they’ve provided murderous dictators and criminals with bank accounts.

Mr Farage has a media profile and is able to make it front page news,I've no doubt there's loads been in the same boat but as 'nobodys' havnt been able to get anywhere. Hopefully now it's more widely known those others may get their problem addressed. What views did Mr Farage hold that were so bad his bank kicked him out?
