Sounds like the young post girl is running around carrying heavy bags.

Re: Knackered
You can't use a trolley to get to every house, plus most parcels aren't heavy just awkward to carry in your bag.
Although she's only confirmed what most of us say anyway, rounds are just getting to big.

Re: Knackered
I don’t get the carrying a bag on the shoulder anymore, the old excuse of it saves me time etc is gone so why do it? When I’m off & my round gets covered there’s always loads of bags on the back of the hct where someone is looping the roads. I have a block of flats that requires a bag some days but that’s it, the rest of the time people are breaking the ssow & risking their job to possibly save a few minutes

And given that the max weight for a bag in flats is 5kg or 8kg depending on the type of flats you aren't exactly carrying a heavy bag.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Think Amy and her crew need a bit of a lesson.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

For them to issue a statement like that is actually quite disgusting when you know the reality of whats happening in DO’s up and down the country. Not surprising yet still utterly shocking.BenacreNick wrote: ↑24 Jul 2023, 15:59A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our 130,000 people and have an extensive range of programmes and tools in place to support colleagues.

Re: Knackered
I love how your take away from this article is to attack one of our colleagues for using a bag.
