Triple mail

Post by jaylime »

I came back after a week off today to find 2 days of mail in the frame with today's set there on the bench, but all the tracked had been delivered.
I'm sure when Simon was grilled by the select committee they said prioritising parcels over letters broke the rules of the USO.
If this is the case, why is it still happening...?

Its still happening everywhere .who's gonna stop them ,...CWA ain't gonna stop them and the regulator sure ain't ....we have guys just back after leave with a week's mail in the frame a week's normal packets and today's trackers .....
This is what RM want and cwa are just quietly going along with it ...
Take what you can and go home on time .

Were there any Special Deliveries left over or were they prioritised?
Does a Tracked letter take precedence over a non Tracked parcel?

If Special Delivery letters and Tracked letters are taking priority over non Tracked parcels how are parcels being prioritised over letters?

Are you ok? Has Orville been playing up?

Don't mention Orville.
He is one above me on the seniority list.

It's still happening because Royal Mail are allegedly losing a million quid a day.

If and when Royal Mail decide to reveal that they are making record profits then delivering days worth of mail shouldn't really be acceptable. Managers will just use the standard excuse of sick absence for that obviously whereas a few years ago they were expected to go out and deliver it themselves.

£42k+ a year for sitting on their fat ar$es. Money for nothing and bonuses for free.

It’s all over the country unfortunately. Managers can lie on the DODR report of what’s gone out/left… it’s never checked.
But special del pre 9am/1pm come first then tracked 24 regardless of size then 48… an so on
Work to time.. unless you want O/T

You're all lying!

"Anyone who does not receive their mail on the day they expect will always be prioritised the following day.

Thats quite a take. You know what he means CRC.

The point is that tracked items are being prioritised over non tracked items, and most parcels we deliver are tracked now and most letters we deliver are not. So there are going to be more letters left undelivered than parcels.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
