What happened to Salary Sacrifice?

Post by xPandabear1992x »

Just rejoined Royal Mail after being made redundant at new job (only took 3 months :cry )

What happened to Salary Sacrifice? Am I to assume cost cutting?

RM brought in salary sacrifice to save on employer National Insurance contributions.

It's still alive and well with regards to your pension payments, as for my bundle I can't comment, as I've never even been on it.

Salary sacrifice is one of the ways that losing 2 days pay on your second sick absence is payed for. Lets face it 75% of people only go sick once a year is bullshit. The other way that the 2 days pay loss is covered is through the washing your uniform allowance tax deduction.

The uniform washing allowance saves us £24 a year.
