Number for recruitment?

Hi all, wondering if anybody had a numver for recruitment at all instead of an email?

Long story short a job came up in our office. Permanent position and I recommended a friend of mine for the job, manager took his details and sent to recruitment

So sent everything over, passport, right to work etc, even sent off photo ID to manager.

Now somebody else in recruitment says because he hasn't sent his right to work in the UK the application has been cancelled (he has sent it to 3 different staff members in recruitment already)

Now obviously he has replied to said email explaining he's already sent it off, but wondered if there was a number to contact to make this easier? He was just waiting for his start date, already offered contract etc and now because of royal mails mistake they're withdrawing?

Any help? Ps. Sorry If this isn't in the suitable place to post, just thought somebody in here would know
