RMCtv : We are receiving large numbers of customer complaints for items that have been RFD scanned / Scanned to Route - but are not being delivered

Post by POSTMAN »

We are receiving large numbers of customer complaints for items that have been RFD scanned / Scanned to Route – generating a message to our customers to expect delivery that day – but the items are then not delivered on that day.

We understand that we are not clearing all of our walks every day currently – but want to remind you of the correct process to follow if this does happen to you!

HOPEFULLY AS QOFS IMPROVES WE WON'T HAVE A NEED TO DO THIS - HOWEVER IT'S VERY IMPORTANT WE DO SO IN THE EVENT OF ANY WORKPLAN FAILURES.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

That's not the bonus earning Tracked pkts by any chance ? Maybe we should scan letters too, just to show that we are not prioritising eh. Sounds like another bit on the PDA that we haven't been taught yet. One day after an 'agreement' and the offensive begins 👊

We had a delivery office manager a few years ago that told me all bar codes are to be scanned, including letters, when he walked away a line manager said, just ignore him, he hasnt a fxxkin clue

Lots of these will be the agency staff who dont give a f**k, just as long as they get enough to pay for their flash new cars I see everyday blocking our vans in.

Oh boo hoo :Boo hoo! would get more delivered if everything bar specials was equal priority. Shouldn’t have to cut off and deliver T48.

How can they be scanned by 9am if some staff only start at 9am? Also if further scans are required before clocking out then we will need to return to the delivery office even earlier 😀

Haha as RM think we're vastly overpaid and any idiot can do the job they best brace themselves for the future, I reckon the amount of f***s given will decrease proportionally to the amount of staff on the new s**t low paid contracts.

Hmm perhaps revenue protection should investigate, that might explain why ASOS still use us if it's free

I got it off of a Facebook group, someone posted the delivery photograph and asked if anyone recognised the doorstep as they hadn't got the item. I looked into the tracking to see if there was a gps location (there wasn't) and the person concerned lives around 100 miles from the nearest DO that delivered it.
